Avalign to Apply RFID Technology to Wide Array of Medical Products

Avalign Technologies Joins Solstice Medical in Channel Partnership

LAKE FOREST, IL  (September 28, 2007)-Avalign Technologies ("Avalign"), a leading company in the medical device outsourcing market, announced today its agreement to become a Channel Partner for the radio frequency identification (RFID) tracking technologies developed by Solstice Medical. RFID is used to track and effectively manage assets from production through delivery to the surgical suite. As part of this new agreement, Avalign will work with Solstice to apply the RFID technology to instruments, implants, and delivery systems on behalf of Avalign customers.
